Brentwood at MRH for District Championship Tonight
Last year Maplewood Richmond Heights won 7-0. Both teams look strong this year.
For the second year in a row the Class 2 District 2 football championship comes down to Brentwood vs. Maplewood Richmond Heights.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. in Maplewood.
Brentwood (10-1) is on a 9-game winning streak, having not lost since the week two loss to MRH.

MRH (9-2) lost 0-7 to Park Hills Central in week four and 6-34 to #1 in the state (Class 3) John Burroughs in week nine.
Both teams had clear wins in previous district matches.

Last Wednesday MRH defeated Lutheran North 60-28, with senior quarterback, Kahlid Hagens the leading rusher, with 182 yards on 18 carries. He also happened to be the leading receiver on a 50-yard pass play from senior, Wes Williams.
Brentwood beat Carnahan 42-22 on Wednesday. Junior, Jake Zivic led the Eagles with 154 yards on 16 carries. Senior, Rekardo Owens was 142 on 18 carries.
Last year's district final was at Brentwood, this one will be at Maplewood.
The winner will play again on Saturday at 1:30.
The weather on Monday calls for a high of 54 with a 30 percent chance of rain during the day, dropping to 37 that night, according to weather.com.
