Brentwood Falls in Title Game at Valley Park Tournament
Andrew Erby scored a career-best 37 points on Friday night but Brentwood still lost to Trinity, 62-57.

Game recap: Trinity started the second quarter on a 9-0 run to push a 15-10 first quarter lead to a 24-10 advantage. Brentwood chipped away, closing the gap to 28-24, but a David Minor 3-pointer as the second quarter clock ran out gave Trinity a 31-24 lead at halftine.
Brentwood and Trinity traded baskets for most of the third quarter. Brentwood stayed within striking distance behind Andrew Erby; he started to heat up and scored 11 of the team's 13 points in the third querter. As the Titans pushed the lead to 53-38 early in the fourth, the Eagles made a late 16-5 run fueled by Erby's 12 points during that stretch.
Trinity's lead had shrunk to 58-54 with under a minute left in the game. But Trinity would finish the game hitting their final four free throws to seal a 62-57 victory in the championship game of the Valley Park Tournament.
The Eagles struggled from the foul line, hitting only 11 of 20 free throws for the game and shot only 37 percent from the floor. Erby scored a game-high and career-high 37 points in the loss. Jarrett Swain led Trinity with 14 points. Brentwood also had a double-double from Amadou Cisse, who scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to go along with four blocks. Both Erby and Cisse were named to the all-tournament team. Brentwood (3-1) hosts Ladue on Tuesday and Valley Park on Friday.
