Brentwood coach Rob Findley worked with five sprinters on the Brentwood track Friday afternoon.

Juniors Julian Horton, Justice Bratcher, Devon Couch, Jake Zivic, senior Rekardo Owens and freshman Jacob Clay practiced starts and did resistance training.

This year's state meet is May 17-18 for Class 2 schools. Both Brentwood and Maplewood Richmond Heights are in Class 2, District 2. The schools' district and sectional meets are at Principia.
