Bryant Allen Makes Basketball Tops

The MRH multi-sport star is now at Illinois State, and has settled on hoops.

graduate Bryant Allen, with 12 varsity MRH letters in multiple sports, has settled on basketball.

He went on to the University of Minnesota, with plans to play football and basketball. In January 2011, he in Normal, IL, still with the two-sport plan.

In a Friday article in STLtoday.com, Bryant said he's decided to concentrate on basektball.

Allen played 25 minutes and scored 4 points in a game on Saturday against Wichita State University in the Arch Madness tournament in St. Louis.

"I think I'm going to hang up my cleats," he said in the article. "Everything I do from here on out is going to be basketball. Offseason is going to be basketball, everything just basketball. I'm going to focus on one sport and get better at what I need to get better at and work on what I need to work on."
