Christopher Frank, St. Louis Business Owner, Board Member Charged with Sexual Misconduct
A sexual misconduct charge in the Brentwood Home Depot was bought last week against Frank, a Ladue resident.
Christopher A. Frank, 42, has now been charged by the county prosecutor with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, a felony.
Patch reported last week that Frank, of the 700 block of Cella Road in Ladue, is suspected of exposing his genitals to a boy in the next stall in the Brentwood Home Depot.
Brentwood Assistant Chief of Police Dan Fitzgerald, said now that charges have been brought, he’s sure that Frank has been notified.
Fitzgerald said an attorney is usually hired in cases like this, who takes it from there. He said the process could take several months.
“That’s why it took so long to get the charges filed,” he said. “We took this report back in November and I’m not sure when they took it over to the prosecutor’s office, but they just filed on it last week.”
Derek Rudman, an attorney with Rudman and Smith, is representing Frank in the allegation.
"I can’t go into any certain facts or details of this allegation due to it being a pending case, but I can say that my client adamantly and categorically denies this allegation and looks forward to clearing his good name," Rudman said.
According to Frank’s Linked in profile, he is the owner and president of Cfx, Inc., a St. Louis marketing firm.
The profile also states Frank is a cabinet member at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, Corporate Cabinet and was a development (fundraising) board member at St. Louis Children's Hospital from 2007 to 2009. In light of this, his ties and his company's ties to the Danforth Center have been suspended and he was not affiliated with Children's Hospital at the time of his arrest.
Also, Jackie Ferman, Manager, Media Relations St. Louis Children's Hospital stated by email to Patch that Frank is not currently a board member at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

OK, Break.
Where there's smoke there's fire usually. Prior conviction for trolling in the park makes it harder to keep an open mind. For the sake of his wife and kids I'm hoping he's innocent however the incident with the young boy happened and if not with this guy then there's another guy out there who did this. Its a fair assumption that the Brentwood P.D. are fairly sure of the charges given the time they put into the investigation. Hats off to the P.D. for devoting thre time & energy into the investigation.
