Dog in Car Lands Owner in Jail
Walmart customer wanted by police gets busted by man's best friend.

MANCHESTER, MO -- On June 19, Manchester police responded to a call at a local Walmart. According to police, the initial call was for an animal complaint, but it ended in a fugitive arrest.
During the call for a dog left unattended in a car in the Manchester Highland's Walmart parking lot, police found that the dog’s owner was wanted on charges from another police department. The dog owner was arrested by Manchester police, booked and then released to the other police department.
The dog was released to its owner's best friend.

- 7:14 p.m. – 1200 block of Strassner Dr. Dog left in cage in the parking garage.
June 26
- 10:01 a.m. – 2500 block of Brentwood Blvd. Report of a dog left in a vehicle. Vehicle GOA.
- 2:14 p.m. – 2400 block of Brentwood Blvd. Report of a dog left in a vehicle. Owner returned before officer’s arrival.
