Doggie Bone Hunt Kicks off Easter for Pooches
The second annual Doggie Bone Hunt was a howling success.
About 30 dogs and dog owners took part in the Brentwood Recreation Doggie Bone Hunt Saturday morning.
Eggs with treats inside and doggie bones, supplied by Airedale Antics, were dispersed in a grassy area of Memorial Park. When the OK was given, the rush to collect began, and it didn't last long.
The Animal Protective Association brought the raffle prize, and Mia, a 3-year-old lab/shepherd mix was there as an available adoptee.
The Brentwood Animal Hospital and West Community Credit Union were also sponsors.
