Females Allegedly Assault Boyfriend, Steal Outdoor Furniture, Shoplift

The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

March 13

A 26-year-old female and a 20-year-old female were arrested for allegedly shoplifting medicine and clothing from a Maplewood Commons business.

A 26-year-old-male and a 20-year-old female were arrested for allegedly stealing a neighbor’s outside (specifically 2 chairs) furniture in the 7400 block of Lohmeyer Avenue. 

March 14

A 23-year-old female was arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend in the 7300 block of Maple Avenue. The male victim sustained several minor injuries to his facial area as a result of the assault.

March 16

A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported in the 2700 block of Oakland Avenue. A parked vehicle was struck by a white Pontiac Grand Prix which subsequently left the scene of the accident. Police are attempting to locate the owner of the Pontiac Grand Prix.

A residential burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Bellevue Avenue. The victim reported his television stolen from within the residence. Police are following up on several strong leads regarding the burglary.

No go! Why did you happen to feature the choice "female" in the headline??? Is it for audience "appeal". Is it because of the rarity of three articles in a row about "female" crime? Would you do the same thing with "Italian"? Watch your gender bias.

Probably due to the fact that the first 3 (of 5) stories involved 4 female perpetrators?
In case you didn't actually read the list, there's a whole lot of "female" going on here.

Gender bias? Seriously.. Because they were female perps they get the same as the male perps. That's not being biased.
