Hunan Wok is Open, In Case You Didn't Know
The Brentwood Chinese restaurant that closed after a fire earlier this year has reopened, with new booths and fresh paint.
Hunan Wok, in Brentwood, has reopened, owner Jason Lee wants everyone to know.
He was a partner in the restaurant with Angela Lin, and she retired, he said, so now it's his.
The restaurant closed in May after a fire.
Lee pointed out the fresh paint, new booths and new marble bar. He said the kitchen, where the fire was, is all new.
A new menu will have an all white meat chicken dish, beef broccoli, Hunan beef, General Tso's chicken and pot sitckers for the kids. He said "no MSG."
Ada, who has waited tables there for 13 years, she said, is still there.
The hours are 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday to Friday and 4 - 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The restaurant delivers within a 3-mile radius, and has two numbers to call: 314-962-0898 and 314-962-0899.
