I find it disturbing that his lawyers and his money managed to get him left off the sex offender registry. Based upon what he did (to a child nonetheless) means that he is precisely that type of person who should be on the list.

I'm with Jane. There is something very wrong with this man and he should not be able to get away with this. I'm sure there was a plea agreement put into place so the poor boy he victimized would not have to go through any more.
What really scares me is that Mr. Frank is the father of two young girls. There is also the fact that his company also is also adjacent to a school. I guess a sick person such as Mr. Frank has to actually touch a child in order for something to really be done. This man is just lucky it was not my son he did this to. Because I would make sure he did not get to walk away with basically just Probation!

Seriously - the more I think about this, the more mad I get. How is it even possible that you can somehow avoid the list? Isn't the point of the sex offender registry so that the public can be made aware of a potential threat? So, let me get this straight. An 18 year old who has sex with his under age girlfriend gets on this list, but this dangerous man doesn't? Shame on you, Brentwood. It makes me want to google any man who has regular contact with my sons, but of course names can be changed. I don't want to be a paranoid parent, but reading something like this makes me think I need to be even more vigilant, since evidently the courts aren't looking out for our children.

According to a previous artical Mr. Frank was charged by the county prosecutor. So this is all on the County Courts and not Brentwood.

There is no reason this man should NOT be on the sex offender list, it's sickening how money can buy your way out. What is the point of the registry if not everyone has to play by the same rules. Makes you wonder who you really are living by, whose homes your children are playing in, etc. if there is no trust in the system to keep our children safe. Agreed with Cheryl, it was definitely not his first time and with just a slap on the wrist, not his last. What is scary is if his children's friend's parents are aware or not, there should be no children under the same roof as him, including his own. This is a very dangerous and sick man. I know a guy that saw him doing something very inappropriate with another MAN at the Brentwood Y in the heated spa. He reported it to the Y and to the police and both did nothing about it. When this story happened he called the police again and told them what happened. This man needs to be locked up behind bars. So, I did a google search for "Chris Frank" and "Christopher Frank" and the only story I can find about this in the past two days is in the Maplewood Brentwood Patch. No mention on the Ladue Patch, no mention in the Post Dispatch. What is going on? I read far more banal articles at the Post; yet, they won't cover a prominent sex offender in our midst. I call foul. I hope I'm wrong and they are just writing their articles as I write. But otherwise, the lesson to be learned from all this is that if you are from Ladue and have money, you can be just a perverted as you like and you can just make a call and have the paper overlook your criminal perversions.

Mariah, there are many sick people in this world who are very charming. They can be kind hearted and have many, many good intentions. But they still can not help themselves and need help. And no being gay is does not make you sick or against the law. But doing crude sexual acts in public and around a child is! Chris Frank Pleaded Guilty! This guy is a child molester. That's a genuine mental illness, and vastly different from being gay. The fact that he is also gay is interesting, as so many child molesters identify as heterosexuals attracted to children. As a point of distinction, child molesters including Mr. Frank should be locked up for life as they will continue to offend until they are physically prevented from doing so, and gays should be left alone to live their lives in private as they like, just like straight people do. And private does NOT mean the facilities of the family-friendly Brentwood Y.

This is enraging, I live right down the street from there. How is it that a sports fan can run across a field naked in front of thousands of fans and be charged as a sex offender, yet this perv exposes himself with the intent to prey on an innocent child and gets off from being charged and having to register as a sex offender? (no pun intended). If I had to guess, it probably has something to do with money/connections with the people higher up. What a sick situation.
