Now visitors to Laumeier Sculpture Park can drink in another St. Louis staple--literally. While Schlafly has been a promoter of the park's annual art fair, they'll officially supply the sculpture park with a selection of beers and non-alcoholic Osterweis products at their special events, according to a news release from the sculpture park.
Patrons to Schlafly Bottleworks' Art Outside and Farmers' Market will also start noticing Laumeier 'cross-promotions.' The Bottleworks, 7260 Southwest Ave., is currently taking reservations for a benefit brunch on Sept. 2, with 10 percent of proceeds to support the sculpture park's programs. (Walk-ins will also be welcomed if space is available.)
“Laumeier and Schlafly share a dedication to supporting local artists, enriching our community, and living sustainably," Laumeier Development Officer Jackie Chambers said in a press release.
The partnership allows the two to "... share opportunities and encourage our mutual audiences to learn more about what's happening in the community," Chambers told Riverfront Time's Gut Check blog.
