Maplewood Firefighters to Hold CPR Class for Public

The training is planned for February.

 

The Maplewood Fire Department has scheduled a class for CPR training in February.

The class will teach the public how to identify a choking victim, provide CPR to children and know the warning signs of "other life-threatening circumstances, such as heart attack or stroke," an event flier notes.

Attendees will become certified in adult, child and infant CPR, and American Safety and Health Institute authorized, the flier notes. The CPR card is good for two years.

  • Saturday, Feb. 11
  • 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Cost is $3
  • Maplewood City Hall (7601 Manchester Road)
  • Class size is limited to 24 people
