Maplewood Mayor Lists Priorities for Next 4 Years
Mayor James White is running unopposed for reelection in April.
The Maplewood mayor and council members running for reelection in April were invited to share their thoughts on Maplewood's future.
Mayor James White is running unopposed, and listed his priorities for a second term.
I am running for a second term as Mayor of Maplewood. I believe there are several important items that need to be addressed in the next four years. These items are:
- Construction of a new fire house next to City Hall
- Development of the Sunnen properties on Laclede Station Road
- Continued reduction in citizens' property taxes
- Continue to insure a healthy Business District
I have lived in Maplewood all of my life and it has been a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I feel being a public servant is a good way to repay the community I love.
Sincerely,
James P. White
Mayor
