Police: Driver had Marijuana and Handgun in Maplewood

Also, a car was reported broken into by burning its roof.

 

The Maplewood Police Department reported the following incidents.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

  • A homeowner reported a burglary of electronic items in the 7600 block of Flora Avenue. The incident is being investigated and at this time there are no suspects.

Thursday, Nov. 29

  • The roof of a vehicle was reported burned in the 7500 block of Woodland Avenue and money was stolen. There are no suspects.
  • Maplewood Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 7300 block of Maple Avenue. It was not occupied at the time and was reported stolen by the City of St. Louis.

Friday, Nov. 30

  • A credit card was reported stolen and used fraudulently.

Sunday, Dec. 2

  • A driver was stopped near the intersection of South Big Bend Boulevard and Rannells Avenue and arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana. The driver was also in possession of a handgun at the time of arrest.
