Monday, Feb. 11

• A 35-year-old man was arrested after an officer observed him fleeing from a vacant home under watch in the 7700 block of Weaver Avenue. Carlos Lusk was charged Thursday with felony stealing, attempted felony stealing and resisting arrest. See the full story on Patch: Officers Stake Out, Catch Maplewood AC Thief, Police Say

Tuesday, Feb. 12

•  A 27-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

• A man wanted on several active felony warrants fled from an officer in the 2500 block of Bredell, and ran into a home on the block. Thursday, Feb. 14

• A 32-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting approximately $425 in makeup from a Maplewood Commons business. 
• A 29-year -old man was arrested for shoplifting alcohol from a Maplewood Commons business. 
• A motor scooter was reported stolen from the 7200 block of Anna between 9 p.m. on Feb. 13 and  3:40 p.m. on Feb. 14.   
• A 38-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
• A 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the area of Roseland Terrace and Lyndover Place.

Friday, Feb. 15

• Passenger side doors were scratched with a key and two tires were flattened on a vehicle parked on the 2200 block of Yale. Upon reviewing the City of Maplewood Public Safety Camera System, the above crime was caught on video, according to the police report.  Police have several strong leads regarding the suspect responsible, they said.
• A 38-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.  The male suspect was wanted on an active warrant, according to police.
• A vehicle was scratched with a key in the 7800 block of Cutlass Walk. 

Saturday, Feb. 16

• A 54-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
• A 27-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood commons business.

Sunday, Feb. 17

• A 23-year-old woman and a 18-year-old woman were arrested for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
