Maplewood Richmond Heights athletic director, Malcolm Hill, submitted his resignation early last week. He has accepted the same position at University City High School. The University City School Board accepted his contract at its meeting on April 19.
Hill would give no other details other than to say he’s looking forward to taking on the position at a school the size of University City. It’s a Class 4 school in most sports. MRH is Class 3.
Hill spent one year as MRH athletic director. He was hired last summer.
MRH Director of Communications Brian Adkisson said the listing for a new MRH athletic director was posted on April 17.
MRH vice principal Michael Maclin is also headed for University City HS. Patch announced on March 9 that he’ll be the school’s principal, starting July 1.
