Maplewood Richmond Heights spring sports are just underway. Girls soccer and the track team were both out practicing last week.
Soccer is 1-3, with a 0-2 loss to Brentwood. The team's next game is Wednesday against Bayless (2-2) at home.
The track and field team is looking forward to its home invitational on Tuesday. Brentwood will be there, and the matchup of throwers MRH senior Britney Bell and Brentwood freshman Sophia Rivera will be a good one to watch.
