New Bleachers to be Installed at Deer Creek Park
They will replace the old bleachers at the Maplewood park.
Five new sets of bleachers will be coming to Deer Creek Park.
During a meeting on Tuesday night, Maplewood City Council approved a $11,340 bid to add five sets of aluminum bleachers to the park. The bleachers have five rows and come with a guardrail.
The bleachers will likely be installed by mid-April, City Manager Marty Corcoran said.
Out of six bids received, Corcoran recommended Bergfeld Recreation Company as the lowest and best bidder for the project. Money for the project will come out of the Deer Creek Special Allocation Fund.
