Obituary: Nolan Edward Hansen, Maplewood Graduate
Mr. Nolan served in World War II then taught at Kirkwood High School.
Nolan Edward Hansen died peacefully in Austin, Texas, on Sept. 10, 2012.
He was born in St. Louis on August 12, 1926. He graduated from Maplewood High School, and earned degrees from St. Louis University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
After serving with the U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division during World War II, he returned to St. Louis and taught for many years at Kirkwood High School.
A service was held in Austin, on Sept. 14.
