Police: Man Stole $480 in Maplewood Burglary on McReady Ave.

The accused told the victim he was trying to chase a burglar from the home.

 

A man faces criminal charges in a Sept. 7 burglary in the 2000 block of McReady Avenue in Maplewood.

Corey Buie, 34, of the 1200 block of Rockbridge Place in Kirkwood, was charged with first-degree burglary and stealing.

Maplewood Police said Buie stole $480 from the home on McReady. Buie told the victim’s son he was in the home, but he was trying to chase the burglar out. The victim told police Buie participated in the burglary.

Bond was set at $50,000, cash only. Buie also was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
