Robbery Attempt in Brentwood Promenade Lot Wednesday Night, Suspect at Large
A woman was threatened with a handgun and ran away. The car left the parking lot onto Eager Road.
The Brentwood Police Department received a call for an attempted robbery Wednesday night a little after 8:00, on the parking lot of the Brentwood Promenade.
As a woman was walking from Bed Bath and Beyond toward PetSmart, a white Chevrolet Impala pulled up next to her. The driver’s door opened, and the driver showed her a handgun, and demanded her purse. The driver did not get out of his car.
The woman screamed, and ran behind the car, through the lot, and to a store where she called 911. The Impala was last seen exiting the lot onto Eager Road.
The suspect is described as a black male, 19-25 years-of-age, and wearing glasses. The pictures shown are of the suspect's car.
