Shoes, Clothes Among Stolen Goods in Brentwood

Monday, Jan. 2
At 2:33 a.m., a 23-year-old man was arrested in the area of Brentwood Boulevard and Manchester Road on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
At 9:27 a.m., a 40-year-old man was arrested from a business in the 1600 block of Hanley Road on suspicion of stealing 100 feet of copper wire.
Tuesday, Jan. 3
At 7:21 a.m., a Toyota Camry was reported stolen from a Brentwood gas station. Police report that the victim had left her car running as she went inside to pay for gas. A man is suspected of stealing her car and leaving the scene. The car was recovered two days later.
Thursday, Jan. 5
At 2:09 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was arrested from a Brentwood Promenade business on suspicion of stealing clothes.
Friday, Jan. 6
At 2:56 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was arrested from a Brentwood Promenade business on suspicion of stealing several items on three separate occasions.
Saturday, Jan. 7
At 5:25 p.m., a 25-year-old man was arrested from a business in the 1500 block of Brentwood Boulevard on suspicion of stealing a pair of shoes.
Sunday, Jan. 8
At 2:19 p.m., a 26-year-old man was arrested from a business in the 8400 block of Eager Road on suspicion of stealing personal hygiene items.

Seems like the police were kept busy by people committing some petty crimes. Stealing shoes and clothes are just some of the examples stated in the article. Must be hard to make a huge difference to the safety of the neighborhood f the enforcers are kept busy by these trivial affairs.
