Soccer Districts Start for MRH, Brentwood
Brentwood's season ended in districts but MRH begins play on Tuesday night.
soccer star John Barron is now fourth in the area in scoring with 32 goals and 8 assists for the Blue Devils this year.
He and teammate Sam Martin (21 goals, 12 assists) make up one of the most dangerous tandems in the state, and will also look to showcase their skills when district play begins for the Devils on Tuesday night against Cleveland NJROTC.
MRH, which is the host school in Class 1 District 2, is the No. 2 seed in the district, and would take on South Central Athletic Association champion and No. 1 seed Bayless, in a potentially exciting district championship game on Thursday at 6:15 p.m.

Brentwood, one of the few teams that began district play over the weekend, saw its season end with a 7-0 loss to John Burroughs on Saturday.
The Eagles were 3-14 this season.
