Maplewood developer David Schlafly is in the process of gut rehabbing the building at 7412 Manchester Road in Maplewood.

He has one tenant signed, a showroom to sell high-end lighting to architects and designers.

He's still looking for someone for the remaining 2,000 square feet.

By the way, Schlafly also owns the building that once housed the Black Cat Theatre, on Sutton Boulevard. He said there is interest from possible tenants, but is not currently willing to go into details.
