Visions for Vacancies: Open Lot Next to CVS
The lot CVS is on is actually two parcels. Now the second one is on the market to be leased.
When Ford Auto Plaza came down, on the southeast corner of Manchester Road and Big Bend Boulevard, two parcels of property became available.
The new CVS is on one of those. The other, between CVS and Hazel Avenue, is up for grabs.
What should go here? Is it big enough for a restaurant? It seems ripe for some sort of franchise.
It's a blank slate - level ground.
What do you say? What do we need?

Dry Cleaners would be handy, or shoe repair, or a tailor.

They said at the council meeting months ago it was supposed to stay as green space.
Looks like that was a fib.

That is what was said at that meeting. But it wasn't binding.
I came to support the CVS deal because they were reasonable about their development.

Hopefully, not another fast food restaurant or gas station.

How about the scooter store moving across the street and get out of that dump of a building they are in now
