Visions for Vacancies: TKO DJs Building Owner Looking for a Buyer
TKO DJs would like to move around the corner. What would you like to see move into this very visible Maplewood location?
The owner of TKO DJs, Matt Williams, also owns St. Louis Closet Company, St. Louis Cellars, and a real estate company, all of which are under one roof at 2626 South Big Bend Boulevard in Maplewood.
He'd like to sell the building TKO DJs is in and move it around the corner to be with his other businesses. He said he and his wife love Maplewood and they'll never leave it.
TKO DJs has been in business since 1988.
So, when Williams sells his building, what would you like to see there? Seems like a good spot for a restaurant.
What's Maplewood missing in your opinion? We could sure use a bakery. How about Italian?
What are your ideas?
This article previously stated that TKO DJs has moved. It's still in the space for now.

I've been waiting for Maplewood to get a sushi or Thai place! Not sure if this would be the right spot, but we definitely need something like that in town.

I would like to see some kind of a fish restaurant like Captain D's. The closest one to Maplewood is in the city at Chouteau and Grand. There's a Long John Silver's on Hamption at Fyler.

I've been hoping some clever entrepreneur would open a "Made in America" retail store, exclusively selling items made in America. As a shopper at this store I would know every dollar I spend would help sustain or create an American job. How about right here in Maplewood at TKO's spot?
