My vote for the Brentwood person of the year goes to a fresh new face on the Brentwood political scene; Alderwoman Maureen Saunders. Mrs. Saunders is arguably the driving force behind the recent and much needed reboot of the city of Brentwood. A hard worker, well informed, unafraid to ask tough questions and demand accurate information, Mrs. Saunders is a breath of fresh air in a small town that is calling out for accountability and honesty from its elected officials.
