My source tells me that after the termination of Police Chiefs Karrabas and Knight they were paid a "consultant" fee for years after their departures without actually performing any duties for the city. Hopefully, the state audit will show how much these monies amounted to. The bigger question is what is the city trying to hide? Is the city protecting itself with "hush" money?
