On November 15th, the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce welcomed Giant Steps of St. Louis to Maplewood with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Giant Steps of St. Louis is a school that teaches children with autism. The curriculum includes acedemics, social interaction, music therapy, physical education and pre-vocational training.  

Maplewood businesses can help support the students of Giant Steps by hiring a student to help with office or company tasks. Students are always accompanied by a job coach and are capable of performing many tasks.
