Our yearly reading program for the adults will be May 29-August 17, 2012. Our theme will center around reading for relaxation and enjoyment as well as activities to help you enjoy your summer. Sign-up begins Tuesday, May 29, 2012 and final check-in will be August 17, 2012. The celebration party will be Saturday August 25, 2012. Come in, sign-up, and get your reading log, initial prize, and instructions. See some of the prizes that you can earn through monthly drawings and prizes that will be awarded at the end of the summer party. We will be featuring several programs that deal with relaxation, leisure time activities, and travel. Also on display will be various titles of books related to night time, relaxation, travel, and all things “sleep-related”. Check at the library as the date comes closer for more details. Come and join the fun! We also have programs for babies through teens--just check out our website for more information.

More About Maplewood Public Library
The Maplewood Public Library opened the doors at this new location behind the aquatic center in 2007. Before the move, the library housed its collection in the city hall building. The new building—the former community center—allowed the library to add meeting rooms, and it offers more space for public computer access. Browse the Internet on one of the library's 12 computers, take a book into the reading room or venture downstairs to the children's library. As the tag line reads, the library has "Great service in a great space."
