DESCRIPTION:To encourage healthier Halloween habits\, fight dental diseas
 e and support our troops\, the Delta Dental Health Theatre is hosting it
 s third annual Great Candy Exchange. The event will take place on Saturd
 ay\, Nov. 3rd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the theatre\, located at 727 N. 
 First Street on Laclede&rsquo\;s Landing in the same building as the Old
  Spaghetti Factory. Area children\, families and school groups are invit
 ed to this free afternoon of fun\, where unopened\, packaged candy can b
 e traded in for chances to win prizes that encourage active play\, inclu
 dingan Xbox 360 Kinect.\nEach exchanged pound of candy is worth one raff
 le ticket. This year\, the theatre will also be presenting a bonus ticke
 t to those who bring in canned goods for Operation FoodSearch. The prize
  drawings will be held at 1:45 p.m. Individuals must be present to win.\
 nThe event will also feature interactive games\, face painting\, balloon
  art\, a juggling show\, prizes and the chance to meet the Tooth Fairy\,
  Tooth Wizard and PlaqueMan characters. Guests are encouraged to come in
  costumes\, have their pictures taken in the photo booth andtake part in
  the costume contest.\nClassrooms\, clubs and organizations can get invo
 lved too. The group that surrenders the most candy by weight will receiv
 e free admission to a 2012 show at the Delta Dental Health Theatre. The 
 school with the highest attendance will receive a $250 donation to buy b
 ooks for their library\, courtesy of Delta Dental of Missouri.\nAll cand
 y received through this event will be sent to the troops\, along with to
 othbrushes\, through A Soldier&rsquo\;s Wish List. Donated canned goods 
 will be given to Operation Food Search\, which is currently in need of c
 anned meats\, vegetables\, beans\, chili and ravioli.\nLast year\, the D
 elta Dental Health Theatre collected over 1\,100 pounds of candy. To lea
