 acy Center\, a legal service center specializing in public health and se
 xual violence\, is proud to announce their grand opening. Following the 
 ceremonial ribbon-cutting at their office in Maplewood on Monday\, Augus
 t 27\, 2012 at 4:30 pm\, Jane Doe will host an official launch party at 
 6:00 pm in the Lopata House Multi-Purpose Room located on the campus of 
 Washington University in St. Louis.\nJane Doe&rsquo\;s official launch p
 arty will begin with light refreshments and a silent auction featuring l
 ocal artists from within the St. Louis Community. After a formal introdu
 ction by Jane Doe&rsquo\;s Board of Directors\, the evening will conclud
 e with a Community Bear Raffle\, sponsored by Build-A-Bear&reg\; Worksho
 p and local small businesses.&nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;When I noticed the lack of
  services available to survivors of non-domestic sexual violence\, I kne
 w I had to do something. It quickly became a project\, and quitting was 
 never an option\,&rdquo\; said Rachna Goel\, President and Founder of th
 e Jane Doe Advocacy Center.&nbsp\; &ldquo\;Jane Doe is not &lsquo\;just 
 another women&rsquo\;s organization.&rsquo\; We are a public health orga
 nization that has identified a large void in the arena of legal services
  that specialize in sexual violence\, regardless of sex\, gender\, or ho
 w the violence is otherwise classified.&rdquo\;\nJane Doe is not just he
 re for the day after\, but to provide long-term support for years after.
  Jane Doe&rsquo\;s focus on specialized long-term legal services sets it
  apart from any other organization that works with survivors of sexual v
 iolence. Jane Doe is launching with a long list of crisis services\, sex
 ual violence services\, public health services\, and outreach programs.
