Girls on the Run St. Louis (GOTR-STL) will host a unique film festival at the Tivoli Theater on Sept. 20 at 7p.m. featuring nine short films directed and produced by female filmmakers from around the globe. The event – called LUNAFEST – is part of Girls on the Run St. Louis’ 10^th anniversary celebration and is open to the public. 

Tickets to the adults-only LUNAFEST are $25 and can be purchased at www.girlsontherunstlouis.org. Proceeds from the event will benefit the GOTR-STL Scholarship Fund.  GOTR-STL offers full and partial scholarships to all participants who are unable to afford the program. GOTR-STL has never turned a girl away for financial reasons and the organization anticipates distributing more than $290,000 in scholarships during the 2012-2013 school year.
