Help the APA Win $20,000 for New Glass Kennels!

The Animal Protective Association of MO is a finalist in the Grow St. Louis contest!

The Animal Protective Association of MO is thrilled to announce that we are finalists in the Monsanto Grow St. Louis contest! This awesome contest features regional nonprofits making a difference in their communities and allows people to vote on individual projects they want to see funded. Voting takes place from May 6-May 19 on the Grow St. Louis Facebook page. The 5 nonprofit organizations from 5 different categories with the most votes each receive $20,000 for their cause!  The APA is so excited to be a finalist in this contest, and we wholeheartedly believe our kennel project is well worth funding.

Currently, our kennels are comprised of metal rods, which are difficult to clean, create a stressful environment for the dogs, and perpetuate a negative public perception of our canines. By changing the kennels over to glass panels, we will reduce noise and stress, increase hygiene and safety, and provide a friendlier, more open environment that will help increase our large dog adoption rate.

Please help us give our dogs the digs they deserve and vote for the APA! You can vote once every day, so please visit the Grow St. Louis Facebook page often! Adoptable dogs like Margie will thank you!
