Giant Cat and Dog Sculptures Are on the Prowl around St. Louis!

Have you been to The Muny lately? What about Blueberry Hill? Even if you’re looking to leave town, you probably noticed a large feline reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland peering at you through its looking glass in Terminal One at Lambert-International Airport.

10 cats and 10 dogs, each 4’ tall, are perched around town right now as part of the Animal Protective Association’s 90th anniversary project, The Harry & Hanley Project. These custom-decorated pieces will be on display until September, when they are reunited at the gates of the St. Louis Art Fair before going to auction.

Don’t miss your chance to see these larger-than-life painted pets! Find the statues’ locations at www.harryandhanley.com and visit them! Tag #APA90 on your photos with the statues when you upload them to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Keep up on project news and Harry & Hanley events by following #APA90 on those sites as well!
