New McGrath Elementary Principal

he Brentwood Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Cindy Neu to serve as the principal for McGrath Elementary School.    Dr. Neu replaces Jeff Busch, who announced his decision to pursue a ministerial calling at the beginning of June.   “I’m excited to be part of such a great district and believe I can do what is needed to continue the traditions in place at McGrath.” says Dr. Neu.

Dr. Neu has been the assistant principal in the Webster Groves School District at Avery Elementary School since 2010.  Prior to that position, she served as the curriculum coordinator for social studies and science for seven years in Webster.  She started her teaching career at the Steger 6th grade center in Webster, where she taught Communication Arts and World Cultures for nine years.  Dr. Neu earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Fontbonne University, a Master’s degree in education from National Louis University, and her Doctorate degree in education administration from St. Louis University.
