St. Louis Artist Ted Collier to Be Spotlighted in Patterns – Ted Collier

ST. LOUIS – Local artist Ted Collier will be featured during an art show, which is slated for Fri., March 7 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Monarch Private Event Space in Maplewood, previously home to Monarch restaurant.

This one-night only art show and cocktail party is open to the public.

The art show, which is called Patterns – Ted Collier, will feature all new original works by the acclaimed mixed media artist. Known for his creative and vibrant use of color in his art, Collier’s works have been featured in venues throughout the United States.

Complimentary appetizers will be provided by Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria. Admission to the event is free.

Collier is an artist living and working in St. Louis. His painting is influenced by his passion for the outdoors, his dreams, and things he sees in every day life. He uses a strong element of “process” to develop the paintings and vision. He begins with an initial structure then through the process, he discovers patterns, shapes, and movement that create stunning imagery.

Collier, who works mostly in acrylics, has had his work featured in local venues and has sold paintings nationwide.

Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has been serving the Greater St. Louis region with exquisite Italian meals made with the finest and freshest ingredients since November 2013. Nearly everything is made in-house including all of the dough, sauces, and dressings.

Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria is open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight and features Happy Hour specials from 4 to 6 p.m. Carry-outs are also available.
