Brentwood Has 2012 Ms. America, Nicole Rash

She followed her fiancee to Brentwood from Indiana. She was crowned on Sunday.

Nicole Rash, 27, of Brentwood, was crowned Ms. America at the national pageant on Sunday.

Rash told STLtoday in a phone interview on Tuesday, that she moved to Brentwood when her fiancee, Grant Cook, was transfered here. They're planning a Sept. wedding.

Rash is employed as a model, actress, and corporate spokesperson, and will complete her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Ball State University in May. She also describes herself as a philanthropist and says she is especially passionate about her platform of service "Breath Easy - Keeping our Youth Smoke and Tobacco Free."

She was also interviewed by the Riverfront Times before she went out to the national contest.
