Doves and Hawks in Maplewood
Two doves in the grass, and a backyard hawk drew plenty of comments on the Maplewood-Brentwood Patch Facebook page.
Maplewood seems to have its share of folks who know their birds.
A couple days ago Maplewood-Brentwood Patch posted a close-up photo of two birds sitting still in the grass on its Facebook page. The Patch iPhone took a wonderful photo!
It didn't take long for comments to come in identifying the birds as doves (but are they rock or mourning doves?).
