Hanley Road Reopens After Water Main Break in Brentwood

Police said an 8-inch main ruptured Thursday night forcing the closure of one north and one southbound lane.

Hanley Road in Brentwood is back to normal following an unexpected issue with pipes.

A broken water main halted movement on Hanley Road north of Manchester Road overnight. It has since repaired, according to the Brentwood Police Department.

Police said an 8-inch main ruptured Thursday night forcing the closure of one north and one southbound lane while Missouri American Water crews performed repair work.

The break was discovered some time after 8 p.m. Work was completed early Friday morning.
