Maplewood Man Profiled in St. Louis Beacon for Saving Lives
Dr. Mark Manary, a Maplewood man whose charity Project Peanut Butter is saving lives across the globe, appeared in a March 5 article on the St. Louis Beacon's website.
If you walk down the residential street of Flora Avenue, you might just stroll past the headquarters of a global charity that is saving thousands of lives.
Mark and Mardi Manary, a Maplewood couple who run Project Peanut Butter to help save the lives of children in Africa. Their organization produces and distributes peanut butter paste, which is a vitamin-fortified food that allows parents from impoverished and rural villages to treat their ill children at home.
Dr. Mark Manary's work has resulted in his recognition in the press, including a Greatest Person of the Day" nod from The Huffington Post.
