Artist Sees Beauty in Maplewood Parking Lot
The Webster Groves painter said he likes painting urban landscapes.
Artist Scott Petty found a shady spot in the Marietta parking lot, in Maplewood, to set up his easel for some fresh air painting last weekend. He said he painted the clouds first, because they tend to change the quickest.
Patch caught Petty about two hours into this painting. It shows the backs of , , , and other Manchester Road businesses.
