The Gateway Festival Orchestra concludes its 48th season with "West by Northwest," featuring selections inspired by the music of Rumania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Austria and Turkey.
The program starts with Mozart's "Abduction from the Seraglio" overture followed by Rumanian Folk Dances by Bartok; Brahms’ Hungarian Dances No. 1, 4 and 5; Strauss’ “On the Beautiful Blue Danube” and Symphony No. 8 in G Major by Antonin Dvorak.
