St. Louis/Chicago Rivalry Has Gone to the Dogs and Cats!

St. Louis/Chicago rivalry has gone to the dogs and the cats as the APA takes on the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago!

Our beloved St. Louis Cardinals fared pretty well in last week's series against the Cubs but the rivalry is far from over!

The Animal Protective Association of Missouri has found itself in the middle of its own St. Louis/Chicago rivalry - they are battling it out head-to-head (or tail-to-tail as it may be in this case) with the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago to see which city has the most love for shelter pets!

The APA is asking that all of St. Louis "Step Up To The Plate!"  The shelter that raises the most amount of money by April 25 will be declared the winner.  The stakes are high: the losing shelter will be forced to name its next nine unnamed pets after the winning team's starting line-up!

St. Louis is the clear underdog with Chicago being a much larger city.  But this is our chance to come out on top!  To learn more about the rivalry or to donate, go to www.apamo.org.
