Copper Thieves Strike Again in Brentwood

The Brentwood police need your help to keep our neighborhoods safe.

In the past week, have taken several reports of copper thefts from vacant homes. The thieves are breaking into empty houses and taking the copper pipes from the basement. These thefts are likely occuring overnight.

The police department needs your help. If you have a vacant home near you, and you see or hear something out of the ordinary, please contact the police department right away at 314-644-7100. Please be a good witness. Convey as much information as you can. Look for a vehicle. If the vehicle is leaving the area, what direction? Can you give us a description of the person(s) involved? If you live near a vacant home, write down the address today, so if you need to call the police you will have it handy.
