Brentwood Business Opens, Offers Mid-Century and Contemporary Furniture

The new Brentwood business was the idea of a past Macy's attorney.

A Clayton resident, and once Macy's attorney has opened new newest Brentwood business.

The Refind Room is a mix of vintage Mid-Century and modern contemporary, and it's all previously owned.

"The idea is that it’s already set up in room configurations, so that if people are looking for a particular item, they don’t have to imagine how it would go in their house," owner Suzanne Woodard said. "Plus, I love the whole design aspect of mixing and matching."

She said everything is the quality and cleanliness of new furniture, but it's previously owned, so she can price it much lower. She sources the furniture locally.

The Refind Room had an open house on Friday and opened on Saturday, at 2525 South Brentwood Avenue, in the old Brentwood Theater.

The Refind Room will also feature local artists. Photographer, Dennis Minner, Jr. is the first artist to be featured at the store.

The store's hours are Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The chairs on the last picture are beautiful. There's some wonderful ghost chairs in this store as well.

Nice play on words. I like the idea of inexpensive modern furniture. http://www.famaliving.com/stores/san-diego-en.html
