Brentwood Businesses Connect with Community at EXPO

Residents chatted with business owners as they munched the free meatballs, brownies and candy.

Fifty-four mostly Brentwood businesses came together at the Brentwood School District Conference Center, on Hanley Industrial Court yesterday to meet the community.

They set up at tables aournd the center to show their goods and chat. Maplewood-Brentwood Patch had a table to sign up folks for the free, daily Patch newsletter.

Chamber president Mike Daming said the chamber spent more on marketing the event this year to bring more exposure to the community.

"We took it to a new level a few years ago," Chamber president Mike Daming said. "The chamber elected make it its signiture event, and it's been better and better every year."
