Chef Brian Hale, formerly with Maplewood's restaurant, is the new Director of Culinary Operations for , , and , in Clayton.

Hale was Monarch's Executive Chef prior to Josh Galliano, the current chef of the restaurant, which is . For the past three years he's been Exec Chef at the Chase Park Plaza.

That's according to Frank Schmitz, a principal in all three operations, as reported in STLmag.com.
