Crow's Nest is Highlighted for Vegetarian Fare

The downtown Maplewood restaurant was named in the Riverfront Times as a place where vegetarians "can order good grub that ain't got no meat."

Vegetarians' food options at restaurants sometimes can be lacking. Sure, most restaurants have salads, but that's often it.

Enter The Veggielante, a series of blog posts on The Riverfront Times' website highlighting restaurants with vegetarian dishes around St. Louis.

"We're not here to proselytize about greening up your diet. Our only motive is to spread the word about places where you can order good grub that ain't got no meat," writes Tara Mahadevan.
