Cup of Sno at Family Video Loses Lease

The snow cone stand owner said on Facebook that Family Video has 'kicked them out.'

Maplewood is gaining a new pizza spot this summer, but in the process apparently losing a snow cone stand.

Family Video is adding a Marco's Pizza to its operation, which will take up about a third of the store's current space.

Cup of Sno has had a lease to sell snow cones on the Family Video parking lot for several years, but now has stated on Facebook that they're leaving.

"We have been kicked out," a Facebook posting states. "They are putting a pizza place in there and they say there is not enough room for us too."

The stand is up for sale on Facebook.
